Cultural Councellor of I.R. Iran in New Delhi attended the opening ceremony of the Photo exhibition on "From the Persian Gulf to the Indian Ocean" on 14th November 2017


"Photo exhibition from the Persian Gulf to the Indian Ocean" by Dr. Dariush Akbarzadeh was inaugurated on 14th November 2017, in the presence of Dr. Ali Dehgahi, Cultural Councilor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Delhi, and some dignitaries at the India International Center. New Delhi The exhibition, which will be open for three days, is consisted of photos and images of Indian heritage in southern Iran as well as some Iranian cultural heritage in India. The exhibition featured images of the Hindus temple in Bandar Abbas, the Indian Caravanserai in Kerman, the Tomb of the Ghulam Rasool of India in Chabahar, the Gurudwara Singh in Zahedan, and the Tomb of the British-Indian Force in Bushehr, as well as other common heritage of Iran and India. Dr. Akbarzadeh presented the exhibition"s illustrations in the opening ceremony. He said that the long-standing relations between Iran and India have created many common ties in various cultural spheres, with its historical monuments and cultural heritage common in southern Iran and the subcontinent.
