Dr. Ali Dehgahi, the Cultural Councilor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi on Doordarshan


The Government of India"s National TV Network of India (Doordarshan) took a TV interview of Dr. Ali Dehgahi, the Cultural Councilor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi on Monday December 4, 2017.

In his interview, Dr. Dehgahi gave a detail of the tradition of friendship of cultural relations and exchanges between the two great civilizations and also highlighted about the importance of Sanskrit language and Iran association with this language. He also communicated about Persian scholars in India who has translated Sanskrit text into Persian and how it has strengthened the India and Iran culture relations.

On being asked how he perceive the India Iran Cultural relations growing in future, he replied it will be further strengthen in view of the recent visit of the Hon"ble Prime Minister of India to I.R.Iran and his valuable message to us on the occasion of a two day Inter-Religious Dialogue on "Spirituality in Hinduism and Islam"
