The Eleventh Rose Garden

Eleventh Rose Garden published by Iran Culture House, New Delhi

The Eleventh Rose Garden has been translated and annotated by Black Archer Williams and was published by Iran Culture House, New Delhi in collaboration with Islamic Kitab Ghar consisting of 299 pages and 17 chapters in 2020. It contains the memories of Zahra Panahi-Rava, the wife of Ali Chitsazian, one of the martyred commanders of Hamadan provinces of Iran.

Though this book shows the characteristics of a martyr, but it can be good means to observe the life & conditions of urban families during the war. Families who have sent several sons to the front and none of them have returned. They are sad and trying to survive with the hope. The lifestyle discussed in their book belongs to 30 decades back; A style which only can be recalled by flipping through the pages albums.
